After almost two years of relentless touring with Agnostic Front, I just now am getting back to updating my web presence. I have been getting a lot of inquiries about lessons, and am ready to start putting together a waiting list with the intention of taking on some new clients starting in February. For immediate release: It has been almost two years in the making, but finally, the date is close enough to share. My first outing as a solo artist is slated for release on February 1, 2022. It’s 7 tracks of instrumental music influenced by all the progressive & jazz music that has been a staple in my life, filtered through the hardcore, punk & metal styles that I’ve been playing live for the past 20 years. I sketched most of this out in 2019 on the drums & piano as a way to practice composing, and find ways to incorporate concepts that simply were not working out in any of my bands. As my tour dates began disappearing, I decided to redirect my energy into arranging & orchestrating those sketches into the full compositions represented in this collection.
